Abstract

The method involves controlling opening of a camber (24), which pivots a bolt (2) received by a strike plate (3) of a lock (1) of an elevator door, so that it exert a force on a regulating wheel (20a) slidingly mounted on the bolt. The force exerted on the wheel makes the wheel to slide till a regulated position from which the bolt is released from the strike plate, under an action of the camber. An independent claim is also included for an elevator door opening system.
