Abstract
L'invention concerne le traitement d'une séquence sonore, telle qu'un morceau de musique. Après avoir appliqué une transformée spectrale à cette séquence, on détermine, par analyse statistique des coefficients spectraux résultant, au moins une sous-séquence répétée dans la séquence précitée, telle qu'un refrain et/ou un couplet du morceau de musique, et on évalue des instants de début et de fin de cette sous-séquence notamment pour préparer un résumé sonore du morceau de musique.
