Abstract

Composite covering material for automobile interior trims comprises a textile layer and a foam layer bonded together through an opaque film. An independent claim is also included for production of the composite material by placing the film between the textile layer and the foam layer, heating the assembly to the softening temperature of the film, and calendering the assembly.
