Abstract

The sun visor holder (4) is carried by a support (41) able to move on the roof or on an element fixed to the roof so that it can occupy two positions. The first position protects the eyes of the front seat occupants against the sun and the second position is a storage position towards the rear of the vehicle. The supports are fixed to a drawing bar (62) or a winding tube (61) of a blind (6) for a bay in the roof. Independent claims are included for a sunblind and a vehicle comprising a sun visor holder.

  Sun visor pallet movable along the roof of a vehicle, sun shading device coupled to such a sun visor pallet and corresponding vehicle.

  The field of the invention is that of automotive equipment. More specifically, the invention relates to concealment means intended to be deployed facing one or more bays of the vehicle in order to protect the eyes of the occupants placed at the front of the vehicle against the rays of the sun or, more generally, to reduce the sun exposure of the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

  The current trend is to offer motor vehicles with more and more glazed surfaces. We therefore seek to increase as much as possible the surface of the side windows, windshields and rear glasses, and also the windows in the pavilions.

  The objectives of this trend are diverse and varied and concern in particular: - better visibility for the occupants of the vehicle; increased brightness inside the vehicle; - a feeling of wider space for the occupants; - the general aesthetics of the vehicle; In this context, new vehicles are being studied.

  Figures 1 and 2 illustrate this type of vehicle according to which there is provided a glazed pavilion 1 and a windshield 2 extending by means of a glazed panel 3 in the direction of the pavilion to reach the latter in a substantially coplanar manner and flush.

  The invention applies in particular, but not exclusively, to this type of vehicle.

  Indeed, such an arrangement of the windshield extending to the glazed pavilion presents a difficulty with regard to the installation and fixing of the sun visor pallets 4 conventionally provided at the level of the windshield, approximately in the position shown in Figure 2.

  With conventional windshields, these sun visor pallets are mounted on a bodywork element in the vicinity of the upper edge of the windshield, so as to be movable in rotation between a position folded against the roof and a position lowered towards the windshield -brise to protect the driver's and / or front passenger's eyes from the sun's rays.

  However, according to the arrangement illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, it clearly appears that the beam 5 being situated at the level where the glazed pavilion 1 meet and the extension 3 of the windshield 2 is not a suitable location for the installation of a sun visor pallet, this one being unable at this point to exercise its function of protection against the sun without impairing the visibility of the driver.

  Of course, it would be entirely conceivable to attach sun visor supports to the windshield 1, for example by gluing.

  However, this solution would prove to be particularly unsightly and incompatible with the general appearance sought through this type of vehicle.

  The invention therefore aims to provide a solution for the implementation of one or more sun visor pallets inside a vehicle, according to a configuration different from that of the prior art.

  The invention also aims to provide such a solution which is adapted to the desired aesthetics through vehicles of the type of those described above.

  The invention also aims to provide such a solution which is simple in design and easy to implement.

  The invention also aims to provide such a solution which can be manufactured and mounted inside a vehicle, quickly and at low cost.

  These objectives, as well as others which will appear subsequently, are achieved thanks to the invention which relates to a sun visor pallet intended to equip a motor vehicle, of the type mounted movable in rotation on at least one support, between a folded position against or in the vicinity of the roof of said vehicle and a lowered position in the direction of the windshield of said vehicle, characterized in that said one or more supports are mounted movable on said roof, or on an element integral with said roof, so that said sun visor pallet can occupy at least two positions: a position for protecting the eyes of the occupants of the front seats of said vehicle against the radiation of the sun; - A storage position, remote from said protective position towards the rear of said vehicle. In this way, the sun visor can be brought into an operational position, in the vicinity of the windscreen, to protect the eyes of the front occupants of the vehicle, while it can be moved away from the windscreen in a position of storage in which it does not appear behind the windshield or in the vicinity of the area where the windshield and the glass roof meet.

  The general appearance of vehicles of the type described above is thus respected.

  The invention therefore proposes an original solution, going against the conventional solutions of the prior art according to which the sun visor pallets are constantly mounted on fixed supports in the vicinity of the windshield.

  According to a preferred solution, said support or said supports are carried by a movable member along said pavilion and forming part of a device for concealing a bay provided in said pavilion, of the type implementing a movable occultation fabric between a folded position and a deployed position.

  Such concealment devices are widely used in current vehicles to conceal glass pavilions.

  The invention therefore proposes to cleverly combine the presence of such a concealment device with that of one or more sun visor pallets, by using movable members of the concealment device to move the protective pallet (s) along the roof -Sun.

  The organs in question of the concealment device then have a double function: that of supporting the deployment / folding of the occultation fabric, and that of ensuring the displacement of a pallet visor along the pavilion.

  According to a first approach, said movable member is the draw bar of said concealment device. In this case, said draw bar advantageously has at each of its ends at least one sliding shoe capable of sliding along a rail extending along said pavilion.

  According to a first embodiment of this first approach, the winding tube of said fabric is mounted in a fixed position along said pavilion.

  According to a second embodiment of this first approach, the winding tube of said fabric is mounted movable along said pavilion.

  With this second embodiment, a completely modular solution is obtained, in the sense that the sun visor (s) can be brought into an operational configuration in the vicinity of the windscreen without the need to deploy the fabric. of the concealment device, the draw bar and the winding tube being therefore moved together along said roof.

  According to a second approach, said movable member comprises the tube for winding said fabric. In this case, said winding tube is preferably mounted in a housing or a cover carrying said support (s), said housing or said cover advantageously having at each of its ends at least one sliding shoe capable of sliding along a rail extending along said pavilion.

  According to a first embodiment of this second approach, the draw bar of said fabric is fixedly mounted along said pavilion.

  According to a second embodiment of this second approach, the draw bar of said fabric is mounted movable along said pavilion.

  Again, this solution is modular, making it possible to bring the sun visor (s) to an operational position without it being necessary to deploy the screen of the screening device.

  The invention also relates to a device for occulting a bay 2853591 formed in the roof of a vehicle, of the type implementing a movable occultation fabric between a folded position and a deployed position, characterized in that said fabric is secured by one of its ends to at least one so-called proximal member capable of being moved along said pavilion between at least two positions: - a first position corresponding substantially to said position of said pallet in which said pallet protects eyes of the occupants of the front seats of said vehicle against the radiation of the sun; - A position corresponding substantially to said storage position of said pallet, distant from said first position towards the rear of said vehicle, said fabric being secured by its other end to a so-called distal member capable of occupying at least one position corresponding substantially at said storage position of said pallet, said proximal member carrying said sun visor pallet.

  According to a first embodiment of such a concealment device, said proximal member is a drawing bar, said distal member comprising the winding tube of said fabric.

  According to a second embodiment of such a concealment device, said proximal member comprises the tube for winding said fabric, said distal member being a pulling bar.

  The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising at least one sun visor pallet, of the type mounted movable in rotation on at least one support, between a position folded against or in the vicinity of the roof of said vehicle and a position lowered towards the visor. breeze of said vehicle, characterized in that said one or more supports are mounted mobile on said roof, or on an element integral with said roof, so that said sun visor pallet can occupy at least two positions: - an eye protection position occupants of the front seats 6 of 2853591 said vehicle against the radiation of the sun; - A storage position, remote from said protective position towards the rear of said vehicle. As mentioned above, the principle of the invention consists in providing means making it possible to move the sun visor paddles between an operational position in which it protects the eyes of the driver and / or the front passenger and a storage position distant from the operational position towards the rear of the vehicle.

  It is therefore understood that the invention relates, in general, to a pallet 10 sun visor mounted on one or more supports capable of being moved from front to back, and vice versa, relative to the roof of the vehicle.

  Preferably, this or these sun visor pallet supports are coupled to a movable element along the roof of the vehicle and forming part of a sun shading blind.

  This is illustrated in Figures 3 to 6.

  According to the embodiment illustrated in Figure 3, the roof 1 of the vehicle is equipped with a blackout blind, of the type using a blackout fabric 6 movable between a folded position and a deployed position.

  This blackout fabric 6 is secured by one of its ends to a winding tube 61 and, by the other of its ends to a draw bar 62, movable along the pavilion 1.

  To guide the movement of the draw bar 62, rails 1 1 are provided on either side of the roof 1, the draw bar 62 having at each of its ends a shoe capable of sliding along the rail 11 25 correspondent.

  In addition, the draw bar 62 carries the supports 41 of the sun visor pallets 4, allowing them to be moved along the roof 1, according to the principle of the invention, between at least two positions: - a corresponding position substantially that illustrated in Figure 2, in which the paddles 4 can be lowered towards the windshield 2 so as to protect the eyes of the occupants of the front seats from the sun's rays; a storage position in which the sun visor pallets 4, via the draw bar 62, are brought back in the vicinity of the winding tube 61.

  It is noted that, according to this embodiment, the winding tube 61 is mounted on the roof 1, or on the rails 11 so as to occupy a fixed position along the rails 11.

  It should also be noted that the winding tube is mounted in the vicinity 10 of a beam 5 on which the front edge of the roof 1 is fixed (FIG. 2), the winding tube being able, according to another conceivable embodiment, to be mounted directly on this beam.

  FIG. 4 illustrates a variant of the first embodiment which has just been described. As is clear, the roof is equipped with two blackout blinds, one mounted on the driver side, the other mounted on the front passenger side, each of these blinds comprising a pull bar 62 carrying a support 41 for a pallet -sun 4.

  To guide the pull bars 62 in translation, a central rail 12 is provided in addition to the side rails 11.

  FIG. 5 illustrates another embodiment according to which the draw bar 62 is fixedly mounted along the rails 11, in the vicinity of the beam 5, while the winding tube 61 is movable along the rails 11 and carries supports 41 of the sun visor pallets 4.

  According to this embodiment, the winding tube 61 is mounted in a cover (not shown) having at each of its ends a sliding shoe capable of moving in the rails 1 1 being guided by these.

  It will be noted that, similarly to the variant of the first embodiment, a variant of this second embodiment can be envisaged according to which the roof is equipped with two blinds, one mounted on the driver's side, 9 2853591 the other mounted on the front passenger side, each of the blinds comprising a movable winding tube along a side rail and a central rail and carrying a support for sun visor pallets.

  FIG. 6 illustrates yet another embodiment of the invention, 5 according to which the winding tube 61 carrying the supports 41 of the sun visor pallets 4 is movable along the rails 11, the draw bar 62 also being mounted movable on along the rails 1.

  According to this embodiment, the sun visor pallets 4 can be brought into their operational position (corresponding approximately to that illustrated in FIG. 2) in two distinct configurations of the blackout blind: one in which the draw bar 62 is remote from the winding tube 61 (the blackout fabric 6 is therefore at least partially deployed), the other in which the draw bar 62 and the winding tube 61 are held in the vicinity one of the other (the shading fabric 6 then being in the folded position).

  It will be understood that a variant of this embodiment consists in reversing the positions of the winding tube and of the draw bar, the latter in this case carrying the supports of the sun visor pallets.

  Again, it is noted that another variant of this embodiment can be envisaged, according to which two blackout blinds operating in a similar manner are mounted facing the roof, one on the driver's side and the other on the front passenger side.

  Furthermore, other embodiments and other improvements can be envisaged, for example by planning to couple the winding tube (s) 25 with elastic return means, or even by providing motorization means of the blinds.

  1 - Sun visor pallet (4) intended to equip a motor vehicle, of type 5 mounted movable in rotation on at least one support (41), between a folded position against or in the vicinity of the roof (1) of said vehicle and a position lowered towards the windshield (2) of said vehicle, characterized in that said one or more supports (41) are movably mounted on said roof (1), or on an element integral with said roof, so that said pallet adapts -sun (4) can occupy at least two positions: - a position for protecting the eyes of the occupants of the front seats of said vehicle against the radiation of the sun;
