Abstract

Description

ADVERTISING SUPPORT FOR BEVERAGE CANS.

  The present invention relates to the field of advertising media, and in particular advertising media for drink cans.

  Support solutions are known such as point-of-sale displays (POS) placed next to the stocks of cans, or else in the form of sleeves placed on the cans for promotional operations.

  To this end, the invention relates, in its most general sense, to an advertising medium for beverage cans having a cover provided with an opening ring fixed by a rivet, characterized in that said medium consists of a sheet cutout having at least two hinged flaps, one of the flaps having a cutout opening from one edge of the flap to a central lumen determined to allow passage of said rivet.

  Advantageously, the support is formed of at least two flaps separated by a pre-drawn line.

  Preferably, it is formed by three sections separated by pre-worked lines.

  According to a preferred embodiment, the third flap forms, in the unfolded position, a foot whose edge opposite to the first flap having the cutout is supported on said flap.

  Advantageously, the cutout has a general shape of a keyhole.

  According to a variant, the flaps are inscribed in an outer envelope corresponding to the internal section of the cover.

  According to a particular embodiment, the flaps have two arcuate lateral edges and two rectilinear edges corresponding to the prerinages.

  The shape of a "keyhole" facilitates the positioning of the support on the can, since the enlarged opening of this cutout makes it possible to engage the edge of the flap at the rivet, and then pushing the flap towards the rivet , the converging edges of the cutout 30 center the flap relative to the rivet, and therefore of the lid of the can.

  The three flaps (1 to 3) are superimposable and can be folded over each other thanks to pre-drilled lines (6, 7).

  FIG. 2 represents a perspective view of a can provided with such a support. The support is placed on top of the can (10), in the retracted position to present two visible sides, on which advertisements can be printed.

  The shape of the support makes it possible to put them in place during the manufacture or packaging of the batches, and to fold the flaps in the upper part of the can cover (10). The support thus fits into the hollow part of the cover, and allows the cans to be stacked during storage.

  When placed on the shelves, the supports are retracted to make the sides of the flaps (2, 3) visible.

  The stiffness of the cardboard from which the supports were cut ensures a slight shape memory.
