Abstract

The bloc (1) includes a stack of paper sheets designed to be stuck to sheets of paper, plastic, documents or supports. Description

i The present invention, illustrated in FIG. 1 attached, relates to a block

  (1) repositionable double-sided self-adhesive sheets (2) Each sheet (2) consists of a double-sided self-adhesive parts (4) and a holding end (5) devoid of self-adhesive product. The upper face of each sheet 5 (2) is protected by a shrink film (3) bonded to the upper face of the self-adhesive part (4). The block (1) consists of a multitude of sheets (2) coated with the shrink film (3). These sheets (2) are glued and stacked one above the other. The lower face (self-adhesive) of each sheet (2) is glued to the upper face of the film (3). The lower face of the block (1) is protected by a film (8) which is glued to the lower face of the self-adhesive part (4) of the last sheet (2) of this block (1). The upper face of the block (1) is materialized

in figure 1 with the number 9.

  This invention can be used in the field of advertising objects, but

  it relates mainly to the field of office equipment, and more specifically that of repositionable double-sided adhesives.

  The present invention is indicated essentially for fixing and repositioning

  a paper sheet or a document on another paper sheet, another document or on any support. By way of nonlimiting example, it may be suitable for fixing a paper or plastic sheet on another sheet of the same kind. or on a bulletin board.

  Traditionally to fix a document on another document, we use either a paper clip or a staple which can cause injuries during handling.Moreover these devices can deform or even damage documents by perforation, especially when it comes to attach (by way of non-limiting example 25) a photo or an administrative document of a certain value to a

letter of correspondence.

  Some administrations have letters of correspondence designed with an insert intended to receive, for example: a transport ticket, a magnetic card or an administrative document, but the disadvantage of this type of letter 30 is that it devotes a part (pre-glued ) to fix the attachment. Another disadvantage linked to this process is the fact that when the document or attachment

  are removed there remains the empty and unsightly insert on the letter of correspondence.

  There are also commercially available transfer tape systems for depositing a thin layer of "invisible" adhesive repositionable by means of a dispenser. The main drawback of these systems is that the adhesive layer

  risk of misrepresenting documents due to an overload of adhesive product.

  The present invention solves these problems because the self-adhesive product,

  applied to the sheets (2), adheres perfectly to all documents and to all supports commonly used in the field of office equipment, and allows repeated repositioning, approximately seven times, without leaving a trace and without causing pity.

  There are also commercially available "fixed all" double sided self-adhesive tapes, pre-cut or not generally sold in the form of rolls or incorporated in a dispenser or unwinder. The main disadvantage of these self-adhesive tapes is the need to use both hands. Indeed to remove a "butterfly" or a double-sided self-adhesive sheet, you must first hold the cartridge or the dispenser with one hand then with the other hand you must pull the tape to extract one or more self-adhesive. In addition, these self-adhesive labels are difficult to reposition since they do not have a retaining tab. Two other important problems are posed, on the one hand the additional cost of manufacture, and on the other hand the waste produced by

  these cartridges and unwinders which become useless after use.

  The present invention solves these problems because it has the following advantages: with this method it is no longer necessary to use two hands 20 to use a self-adhesive sheet (2). For this it suffices to glue the block (1 ) on a support (example a desk) after removing the protective film (8) located on the underside (which is self-adhesive). Then everything else is just child's play since with only two fingers you can: peel off the top sheet (2) with its shrink film (3), by gripping it by the end (5) not coated with self-adhesive product, position this sheet (2) on the document

  support, then remove the removal film (3) by lifting the tab (6) provided for this purpose, and finally stick the attachment or any sheet on top. The problem of unnecessary accessories that produce waste and are a source of unnecessary expenditure is also resolved, because the various elements which form the block (1) are limited to the strict minimum, namely: self-adhesive sheets (2), coated with their shrink film (3), and a protective film ( 8).

  There are also commercially available double-sided repositionable self-adhesive tablets presented either in boxes or glued to a tape. Other manufacturers offer double-sided, heat-sensitive, repositionable self-adhesive silicone pads 35 which must be kneaded between the

  fingers a few moments before any use. The major drawback of these tablets is the fact that one is forced to place the fingers directly on the self-adhesive surface, during handling and repositioning.

  The present invention again offers a suitable solution to this problem, since each sheet (2) consists of two parts; a double-sided self-adhesive part (4), and a holding end (5) to which the self-adhesive product has not been applied to both sides. Likewise, each shrink film (3) is equipped with a retaining tab (6) disposed above the end (5). With this method the end (5) and the tab (6) will facilitate handling of the sheet (2) and the film ( 3), without the fingers being in

  direct contact with the self-adhesive product.

  Another advantage offered by the present invention is the possibility of separating the end (5) from the self-adhesive part (4). Indeed these two parts are delimited by a dotted line (7) which consists of a succession of 15 micro perforations. So we can either detach the end (5) following the dotted line (7) when we want to make a final bonding, or leave this end (5) adjoining the self-adhesive part (4) when the fixing n 'is not

  definitive or when subsequent repositionings are to be expected.

  This invention is therefore a revolution in the field of repositionable double-sided adhesives, since it solves many problems posed up to

  present, especially for people with disabilities. Indeed, people who are visually impaired or deprived of the use of one of their hands can distinguish, independently and with one hand, each self-adhesive sheet (2) and each removal film (3 ), only to the touch, and without their fingers being in contact with the self-adhesive product.

  As we have just seen, the aim of the present invention is to make available to a large public, and in particular office staff and the disabled, a practical product, easy to use, inexpensive and always at hand, in order to fix temporarily, or even permanently, a document generally made of paper or plastic, on another document or on any support, while allowing the possibility of peeling it off

and / or reposition it.

  For a practical embodiment of the present invention, the following dimensions may be given, by way of non-limiting example: 35 - block (1): L 3 cm / I 12 cm / h (thickness) 1.7 cm

  - whole self-adhesive sheet (2) (parts (4) and (5)): L 3 cm / 1 2 cm.

  - double-sided self-adhesive part (4): L 2 cm / 1 2 cm

  - detachable end (5): L 2cm / I 1cm.

  - diameter of the micro-perforations of the line (7): 100 microns.

  - shrink film (3): L2cm / 1 2cm.

  - tab (6) of the shrink film (3): 1 cm in diameter, semi-round shape.

  - protective film (8) on the underside of the block (1): L 3cm / I 2 cm - number of self-adhesive sheets (2) provided with their shrink film (3): 100

  - thickness of the self-adhesive sheets: 100 microns. 10 - thickness of the shrink film (3): 50 microns.

  - thickness of the protective film (8): 100 microns.

  - thickness of the layer of self-adhesive product on each of the faces (4): 10 microns.

  This practical embodiment shows a generally rectangular shape of the block (1) and of the sheets (2), but variants of the present invention which are not illustrated 15 provide for different geometric shapes. By way of nonlimiting example, the block (1) can have a cylindrical shape when the sheets (2) the film (3) and the film (8) are

circular shape.

  The different elements of the block (1) can be made of recyclable paper,

  plastic or flexible woven or silicone material, different colors and 20 different thicknesses.

  The thickness of the layer of self-adhesive product, which will be deposited on the two faces of the self-adhesive part (4) of the sheets (2), can vary from 0.1 to 500 microns in thickness. These values are given for information only and are left to the appreciation of those skilled in the art. It may be possible to use a viscoelastic gel, or a removable pressure-sensitive self-adhesive product. Other repositionable self-adhesive products available commercially, and having compatible characteristics for carrying out the present invention can also be used.

  Other modifications, embodiments, variants and improvements will be apparent to those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the present invention.

  1. Block (1) comprising a stack of sheets intended to fix or glue sheets of paper or plastic or documents between them or on flat supports, comprising repositionable self-adhesive sheets (2) bearing, each of they, on a first face, a first glued area (4), 5 characterized in that each of these said sheets (2) carries, on a second face opposite to said first face, a second glued area (4)   associated with a removable protective film (3).   2. Block according to claim 1, characterized in that the protective film (3) is arranged to also protect a said first glued area (4) from another stacked sheet (2).   3. Sheet block according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that each sheet (2) has a gripping end (5) free of glue on both sides.   4. Sheet block according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that each protective film (3) has a handling tab (6).   5. Sheet block according to claims 3 and 4 together, characterized in that the gripping end (5) and the handling tab (6) are superimposed.   6. Sheet block according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the gripping end (5) is detachable from the glued areas (4, 4) at the level   of a line formed by a succession of perforations.   7. Sheet block according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the sheets (2) and the protective films (3) can be produced from a material chosen from the group consisting of paper, plastic, a woven material, and a flexible silicone material.   8. Sheet block according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that   the areas (4) are glued with a viscoelastic gel.   9. Sheet block according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the zones (4) are glued with a product with an adhesive characteristic sensitive to pressure.
