Abstract

The litter device consists of a vertical fixed element (1) formed from a tray (2) provided with a grille (6). The lower part is extended by a gutter (3) drilled with an opening (4) giving access to a tank (5) located underneath. There is a removable mobile element (9) formed from a tray (10) provided with a grille (14) with slide hinges (15). This element is extended by a gutter (11) flanked at its ends by two pivots (12,13) allowing its rotation for putting into use or closing. A container (5) collects the urine flowing from the two elements. Two uprights (18,19) supporting the unit are hollowed with two reinforcements (26,27) serving as handles and provided with two magnets (16,17) which hold the mobile element vertical when the equipment is closed. The uprights comprise two open recesses (22,23) in which the pivots articulate and a system of runners (24,25) enabling the mobile element to be withdrawn.

Description

The present invention relates to an indoor, mixed device,

  transportable, on which the dog can make its needs, thus making it possible to collect, at home, canine excrement.

  The existing systems are devices for the external collection of dog droppings and none takes into account equally polluting liquid excrement.

  The device according to the invention is innovative because it responds to a new concept to combat the current scourge of dog excrement in the city. With this device, each master will be able to train his dog so that he can do his needs indoors, in his living place and not on the sidewalks or other public places.

  The device of the invention comprises, according to a first characteristic, a fixed vertical element against which the male can urinate, a removable mobile element used to collect the urine of the female and indifferently the solid excreta of the male or the female when it is folded on the ground in the open position, a tank located below these two elements and two lateral uprights which support the assembly.

  The fixed vertical element is made up of a tank fitted with a splash-proof grid

  and the lower part of which, in the form of a funnel, is extended by a rounded gutter, pierced with an opening which opens onto a reservoir situated below. When the dog urinates against the grid, the liquid flows onto the bottom of the tank, then into the tank through the opening drilled in the gutter.

  The removable movable element is also formed from a tank provided with a splash-proof grid, the bottom of which is curved and which comprises, at its outlet, two guides placed in a funnel, channeling the liquid towards the center. The tank is extended by a rounded gutter serving at the same time as an axis for the mobile element thanks to two pivots located at its ends. When the dog urinates through the grid, the

These two uprights have a wider part at their base for better stability.   Each part is made of plastic in a single injection molding operation and assembly is done by embedding and gluing.
