Abstract

The earring is a clip with two branches (22,23) which are joined by a hinge (14). A stud (2) through the ear has a flat surface on which the hooked part of a hooked pile fastener (12) is fixed by an adhesive. The looped part of the fastener (15) is fixed to the inner surface of the outer branch of the clip. The fastener on the stud is surrounded by a circle (16) which is bent inwards. The inner surface of the back branch of the clip (23) is covered with pad (18) of rubber or an elastomer.
