Abstract

The invention relates to a type of refrigerator composed of a plurality of modular elements, each comprising an independent storage volume, which can be superposed and nested in one another, resting on a base and covered by a technical module combining all the refrigeration elements (5, 6, 7). The storage module comprises at its centre a closed box (1) fitted with an opening at the front. Separated from the box by a gap (4) on three sides, an insulated enclosure (3) having no bottom or top surrounds the storage box which is connected at the front to the insulating enclosure in the door frame.
