Abstract

  The present invention relates to a closure device for facilitating the opening of a bottle containing an effervescent liquid, for example champagne. Bottles of sparkling wine, such as champagne, have a cork closure cap which is locked on the neck by

  a metal wire associated with a capsule.

  As it appears in FIG. 1, the corking device in accordance with the invention comprises a cork stopper 1 pressed into the neck of a bottle 2 and held on this neck by a metal wire 3 associated with a

capsule 4.

  The cork stopper 1 consists of a cylindrical body 6 surmounted by a head 8; it is crossed over its entire height and at its center by a

  rigid cylindrical insert 10 defining a pipe 12.

  Line 12 connects the interior volume of the bottle 2 and the exterior; it is closed at the top by a cover 14 positioned

by force.
