Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a bowl support device for

  animals, especially for dogs.

  The present invention will find its application in the field of the manufacture of utensils intended for animals, more particularly domestic animals, in particular dogs. When it is desired to give food to domestic animals, it is customary to place it in suitable containers, in particular bowls, which are required to contain

food and / or water.

  In this regard, it will be observed that such bowls are, generally, placed on the ground which obliges the animal to bend down to absorb the food. This animal, especially when it is a dog and, more particularly if the latter is of large size, has a certain number of difficulties in swallowing its food due to the fact that its head is located in

  against the body.

  In this relatively uncomfortable position for the animal, the latter encounters swallowing problems besides that it swallows, at the same time as its food, a large quantity

  air causing gastric upset.

  In addition, after the animal has eaten, it is constant to find a certain amount of food strewn on the ground

around said bowl.

  A solution has already been found to these problems through a bowl support which is in the form of a rod resting on the ground through a foot and receiving

  means for attaching one or more bowls.

  Such a support then makes it possible to raise the latter but only partially solves the initial problem knowing that the chewing of food still causes

  projections around and fallout of food on the ground.

  In order to remedy the drawbacks of the state of the art, a new support for bowls capable of raising the latter, preventing food from falling on the ground and

  protect the surroundings from splashes.

  To this end, the present invention relates to a bowl support device for animals, in particular for dogs, characterized in that it is defined by: - a tray comprising means for receiving and maintaining at least one bowl; - a foot device on which the tray rests; - A file extending, at least in part, above said tray, at the rear of the means for receiving and holding the bowl. According to an additional characteristic of the present invention, said tray and the foot device are provided capable of being folded at the front and / or at the rear of the backrest by means of folding means and / or means of appropriate retraction. The advantages resulting from the present invention then relate to the fact that this bowl support makes it possible to raise these

  last and bring them up to the animal.

  Such a support advantageously comprises a tray intended to receive at least one bowl, such a tray being, substantially, capable of defining a table on which are likely to

  accumulate food falling out of said bowl.

  In addition, said support is completed by a file extending at the rear of said tray which advantageously makes it possible to arrange said support near a wall or the like while protecting this

  last with regard to projections.

  As it appears in the accompanying drawings, the present invention relates to a support 1 capable of receiving one or more bowls 2 intended to contain animal feed,

  especially domestic, especially for dogs.

  According to the invention, this support device 1 is defined by a plate 3 comprising means 4 for receiving and maintaining

at least one bowl 2.

  This support device 1 also comprises a foot device 5 on which said plate 3 rests. It also has a backrest 6 extending, at least in part, above said plate 3, behind the means 4 for receiving and maintaining

the bowl (s) 2.

  According to another characteristic of the present invention and as visible in the figures of the appended drawings, the foot device 5 is constituted, at least in part, by an extension 7 of the backrest 6 under said plate 3. This is, in particular, through this extension 7 that said support device i rests on the same

floor.

  According to a preferred embodiment, this foot device 5 can, advantageously, be supplemented by at least one flap 8 capable of extending or being extended under said plate 3, the latter coming

  Likewise, said plate 3 can also be provided capable of being folded down at the front and / or at the rear of the backrest 6 by

  folding means 12 and / or retracting means 13 suitable.

  In this regard and as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 and 5 to 7, said plate 3 is mounted articulated on the backrest 6 by means of articulation means 14 defining said folding means 12 and / or retraction 13. However, the latter can still be constituted by nesting means (solution not shown)

  As shown in Figure 4, such a plate 3 can also be hinged on a flap 8, the latter being provided with fitting means 16 capable of making the assembly integral

the front of the backrest 6.
