Abstract

The ear plug (1) is made from a cylinder of a sound insulating, e.g. foam, material and is equipped with a loop (2) of line for withdrawing it. The length of line is some three times the length of the plug and its ends are joined by a knot (9) or weld positioned inside the hole in the plug through which the line is threaded.
