Abstract

The food bowl (28), seated (13,9) within an outer case (1), has an undulatory base (180) resting on ribs (181) that prevent relative rotation. A motor in the case has a drive-shaft (23), within the bowl's central cylindrical upstand (20), on which fits the rotary beater (4), stabilized by a locating pin (19) in the lid center. The lid, with an offset access funnel (204), has a deep skirt (15) with an internal groove (198) containing a resilient seal, compressed by the bowl rim (197) when the lid is locked in place by diametrically opposed spring-loaded (7) catches (6).
