Abstract

The battery/pedal assembly for the cabin of a vehicle includes the pedals (16) which are hinged on a common support (18). This support is fixed through an aperture (20) formed in the bulkhead (10), and retained by a series of screws. The console assembly (22) of which this forms a part also includes two side walls (30) defining a space between them. The space accommodates the power assistance unit (28) for the brakes, and the vehicle battery (34) supported directly above the power assistance unit. The battery may be supported on a shelf within the two side walls.
