Abstract

It is the establishment, between floor and ceiling, of any partition panel to be erected vertically by pivoting around its foot. According to the invention, there is provided, at the upper part of this partition panel, a fixing part 25 comprising a sole 26, by which it is adapted to be fixed to the ceiling, and a wing 28, which is capable of passing through. from a first standby position, for which it extends substantially in the extension of the sole 26, to a second, service position, for which, duly wedged with respect to this sole 26, it extends substantially at right angles to the latter and is thus able to provide support to the partition panel concerned, this wing 28 being for this purpose equipped with at least one drive tongue 29 interposed on the path of the latter.   The present invention generally relates to the establishment, between floor and ceiling, of a partition panel, for example for the realization of a partition by butt jointing several such partition panels. and it is more particularly in the case where the partition wall panels thus to be implemented are partition panels whose core is at least partially flattened on their edge or is at all

  It has been proposed to substitute a wooden sole for a profile generally having a U-shaped cross-section, the installation of a partition panel being then carried out by bringing laterally this

  partition panel, inclined or recessed, in contact with

  one of the wings of this sole, and straightening it vertically until, spanning this wing, it settles partly inside the sole and

  partly outside of it.

  In this case, it is substituted, in the guide rail, in the upper part, a simple key, the U-shaped profile implemented as a sole ensuring in itself essentially guiding, still necessary, the partition panel and when, in the usual way, it is then slid to bring it to

its final place.

  The present invention relates to a high fastener advantageously to overcome such sliding when, as in this case, the partition panel is erected vertically

by pivoting around his foot.

  This fastener is generally characterized in that it comprises a soleplate, by which it is adapted to be fixed to the ceiling, and a wing, which is likely to pass from a first position, waiting, for which it extends substantially in the extension of said sole, and a second position, service, for which, duly wedged relative to said sole, it extends substantially at right angles to it and is thus fit to provide support to the panel

of concerned partition.

  In practice, this wing is equipped with at least one drive tongue, which, interposed in the path of the partition panel when it is erected vertically by pivoting around its foot, is able to pass it from its waiting position at its service position under the sole request of said

partition panel.

  Thus, when it is erected vertically, by pivoting around its foot, the partition panel is always supported, in the upper part, against the wing of the fastener according to the invention. It suffices, therefore, to fix it to the latter, for example by screwing, without any sliding

  As the initial blank is flat and of relatively small thickness, it is without difficulty that the partition panel to be installed can be engaged under the wing of the fastener according to the invention to have access to the tongue or tabs. As illustrated in FIG. 1, this is generally the establishment, between the floor 10 and the ceiling 11 of any room, of at least one partition panel 12, and, for example, and as shown, an alignment of such partition panels 12, for the constitution of a partition 13 extending to a slit at

  count of one of the walls 14 of the premises in question.

  In practice, each of the partition panels 12 thus to be erected is a partition panel whose core is either, from the outset, at least partially unstripped on its edge, or, likely to be thus unscaled

on this slice.

  For example, and as shown, it is a composite wall panel comprising, on the one hand, a core 15, cellular structure, itself consisting of strips of cardboard 16 intersecting two by two to right angle according to a grid network, and, secondly, two facing plates 17, which themselves each consist of a layer of plaster taken between two sheets of cardboard, are properly secured, for example by gluing, to the previous soul, extending each respectively from

two lateral wings 21.

  According to arrangements which, not being part of the present invention, will not be described in detail here, the middle portion 20 has, longitudinally, projecting a rib, and, on one side of this rib, between it and the corresponding lateral wing, it extends to a level higher than that to which it extends on the other side of this

rib.

  In practice, the sole 19 thus implemented forms a shooting piece, which, common to the various partition panels 12 concerned, extends at the foot thereof. According to the invention, a fastener 25 is used in the upper part of these partition panels 12. In the embodiment more particularly shown in FIG. individual, a fastener 25 per partition panel 12, and the latter extends O10 substantially in the median area of the slice

of partition 12 concerned.

  Preferably, and as shown, the wing 28 is equipped with at least one drive tongue 29, which interposed in the path of a partition panel 12 when the latter is erected vertically by pivoting around its foot, is fit, as will appear below, to move it from its standby position to its service position under the sole solicitation of this

partition panel 12.

  In practice, in the embodiment shown, two drive tongues 29 are provided, and these, each disposed respectively at the ends of the wing 28 which they equip, extend at a distance from one another. at least equal to the corresponding dimension of the sole 26 associated. with the wing 28.

  In the embodiment shown, the two drive tongues 29 thus equipping the wing 28 are both integral with it, O10 and this wing 28 is itself a alone holding with the sole 26, being connected thereto by a line of least resistance 30 to allow the

  There is thus, in the embodiment shown, an alternation of round holes 31 and

buttonholes 32.

  The drive tabs 29 are each connected, by a wide radius, to the flange 28, generally speaking, apart from said flare, a line which is substantially aligned with the line of least resistance 30 along which they are connected. the sole 26 and the flange 28. this wing 28.

  A sufficient thrust then being exerted on it, along the arrow F2 of FIG. 4B, the partition panel 12 drives the driving tongues 29, and, with these, the wing 28, by folding the assembly, along the arrow F3 of Figures 4B and 6, around the line of weakness 30 by which the wing 28 is connected to the sole 26 with which it is associated. At the end of this folding, FIG. 4C, the drive tongues 29 are pressed against the ceiling 11, flanking each of the sole 26, on either side of it, while the wing 28 , therefore in the service position, extends perpendicular to the ceiling 11, then providing support for the partition panel 12, the latter coming to bear against this flange 28 by the inner face of that of its facing plates 17 which is the most backward. Together, the partition panel 12 is then overlapped. sole 19, as

shown in Figure 1.

  It suffices, then, to secure it to this sole 19 and to the attachment piece 25, using

example of one or more screws 36.

  As illustrated by FIGS. 7 and 8, when the wing 28 of the fastener 25 according to the invention is thus folded at right angles to the sole 26 with which it is associated, this fastener 25 can also serve as a corner connecting piece between two partition panels 12 arranged perpendicular to each other, Figure 7, or corner connection piece between such a panel of

  partition and any frame 37, Figure 8.

  In the foregoing, it has been assumed that an individual fastener 25 was used for each of the partition panels 12 to be laid. This fastener 25 therefore does not include,

as described, a wing 28.

  Alternatively, Figure 9, to suit at least -

  two adjacent panels, it comprises, aligned with each other, at least two wings 28, with, for each

  of these, at least one drive tongue 29.

  In practice, as shown schematically in dashed lines in FIG. 9, there can thus be as many wings 28 as there are partition panels 12 to be laid one after the other, the next fixing piece 25 the invention then constituting, in the manner of the sole 19, a continuous spindle

  common to all of these partition panels 12.

  The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown,

  but encompasses any variant of execution.

  In particular, and although a realization of a-

  single holding from a blank is particularly simple, it would not depart from the scope of the invention by performing with initially distinct components

  the high fastener according to the invention.

Claims (12)

  1. High part for partition panel (12) to be established between floor (10) and ceiling (11), characterized in that it comprises a sole (26), by which it is adapted to be fixed to the ceiling ( 11), and a wing (28), which is likely to pass   of a first position, of waiting, for which she.   extends substantially in the extension of said sole (26), to a second position, for which, duly wedged relative to said sole (26), it extends substantially at right angles to it and is thus able to provide support to the panel partition (12) concerned.   2.
