Abstract

Dispositif pour renforcer le fond du cotyle humain. L'invention concerne un dispositif métallique malléable caractérisé par une forme en étoile à plusieurs branches permettant de s'adapter ainsi au cotyle à renforcer. Il est constitué d'une étoile percée de trous à sa périphérie permettant son ancrage par vissage dans l'os et éventuellement pourvue d'un crochet.

DESCRIPTION
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de plaque de renfort lntra#cotylotdien.
Traditionnellement, lorsque la cavite cotyloldienne se trouve soit perforée soit trop fine pour recevoir un implant, il est de rigueur de renforcer l'os ou de lui substituer un treillis metallique noyé dans un ciment adapté afin de recevoir un implant.
le dispnsztif selon 1'inventinn pPrmPt h l'utilisateur et all receveur d'obtenir un renfort cotyloldien métallique suffisament mince pour être malléable et permettant de s'adapter parfaitement à l'os quelque soit sa conformité.
Ces plaques peuvent être en plus aisément coupées en fonction des besoins et elles sont percées de trous uniformément répartis sur leur surface. La largeur de ces trous permet la fixation dans l'os par des vis à tête fraisée, facilitant ainsi l'encastrement des têtes de vis et donnant en plus un débattement suffisant pour la visée du vissage.
Chaque centre de la plaque sera muni d'un trou de petit diamètre (1) pour permettre son application par une pointe carrée ou sa fixation provisoire par une mèche adaptée.
Ces plaques ont été réalisées selon deux modèles ayant deux objectifs différents
Le premier modèle forme une étoile à six branches (fig. 1), les deux branches inférieures moulant la corne cotyloidienne, les deux plaques moyennes s'appuyant sur les parois antérieures et les deux branches supérieures moulant le toit.
Cette étoile à six branches a de plus une structure hémisphérique pour épouser parfaitement la forme du cotyle normal sans aucun débord sauf si on la fait basculer sur son axe pour déborder en haut et ainsi appuyer sur une éventuelle butée osseuse complémentaire.
Cette plaque sera essentiellement utilisée pour renforcer la cavité osseuse quand celle-ci est continue, soit dans les pertes de substance de ltarrière#fond; soit dans les pertes de substance tectale, soit en cas de cavité très mince ayant perdu sa rigidité.
Le deuxième modèle (fig. 2) a la même structure mais comporte dans la partie basse un crochet permettant l'ancrage dans l'échancrure ischio-pubienne et dans sa partie haute une plaque en T permettant l'appui et l'ostéosynthèse sur le toit du cotyle.
Cette plaque sera donc. utilisée de préférence dans les grandes destructions cotyloldiennes avec perte de continuité d'une ou deux colonnes, voire fracture transversale.
Sa pré-formation et la création d'un modèle droit et gauche facilitent sont positionnement et son antéversion d'autant plus que la plaque du fait de sa souplesse relative s'appliquera d'elle-mEme lors du vissage.

REVENDICATIONS
1/ Plaque de renfort cotyloidien caractérisée par une forme en étoile à six branches sur lesquelles sont répartis une série de trous permettant la fixation dans la cavité Osseuse (Fig. 1).
2/ Plaque de renfort cotyloidien caractérisée par une forme en étoile avec crochet (Fig. 2), permettant un ancrage dans l'échancrure ischio-pubienne.
3/ Plaque de renfort cotyloidien caractérisée par la malléabilité donnée au matériau par une épaisseur adaptée permettant de moduler sa forme en fonction de l'os (Fig. 1 et 2 > .
