Abstract

The invention concerns the formation of a plaster render with a very good finish, particularly at the corners. It is characterised by placing a framework in plumb and to level acting as a reference for the application of render coats and which comprises corner bars and flat bars in hard plastic with a rough face. Squares of determined sizes are cut out beforehand at a position provided for them, allowing the bars to fit perfectly together as often as necessary; the bars are fixed on dabs of semi-liquid plaster.

Invention of a hard plastic angle bar, PVC type or similar, of white color, of cut of 2 cm X 2 cm, of a thickness of 3 mm, of a typical length of 2.50 m, allowing be extended by adding another bar or fraction of a bar, to obtain a larger dimension on request. i
Invention of a flat bar, called an intermediate bar, of the same material as the angle bar, 2 cm wide, 3 mm thick, with a standard length of 2.50 m, allowing it to be extended as previously.

 The angle bars have a very rough face. Inner face for the outgoing angles, external face for the inward angles.

The other side is perfectly smooth. On the same principle, the flat bars have one very rough side, the other perfectly smooth.

 The rough side provides maximum adhesion to the support.

 Mode dismantled in place: The angle bars are placed on plots of pltter to be freshly spoiled, arranged in regular spaces, at all angles, horizontal or vertical, perfectly plumb and / or level, and constitute a real "framework "surfaces to be plastered.

 Each angle bar is pre-cut at one of its ends, in the shape of 2 small squares of 2 cm X 2 cm, each arranged on one of the perpendicular sides of the angle bar. This allows to obtain a perfect interlocking, at the junction of the angles, by cutting by simple pressure, the appropriate square of the suitable bar. The angle bars are then perfectly joined together.

 The flat bars are posed in an identical manner, on plaster blocks to be freshly spoiled, perfectly plumb, and aligned with the vertical angles, previously coated with their angle bars already put in place a distance not exceeding 1, 50 m between them and one of the corner angle bars.

 The installation time of such a "framework", in a classic room with 5 re-entrant angles, and 1 exiting angle, vertical, and all the horizontal angles of the ceiling relating thereto, is very rapid, since we were able to execute in 20 minutes.

 It only remains for the performer to fill the plaster with paste, the void, inside the frame, which acts as a benchmark.

 With the help of a classic rule which rests on the bars, we obtain, without difficulty or excessive effort, and with great speed of execution, a perfectly flat and straight surface.

 The quality of the plaster is much better, since none of the faults, formerly usual, remain. In addition, and this is not negligible, the saving of time is considerable, since a performer, of average speed, can arrive, without difficulty in adapting, to double its yield.

The best time saving that we have been able to achieve can be estimated to be 2/3 less than the previous normal time for the same work.
