Abstract

The present invention relates to law-based parlour game. Game characterised in that it consists essentially of concentric paths 1 to 3 corresponding to progressive levels of play, from the path 1 of largest perimeter to the path 3 of smallest perimeter, and of which the path 1 of largest perimeter is equipped with a starting square 4 and at least one square 5 for passing to the upper-level path 2, the upper paths 2 and 3 each having at least one square 6, 7 for passing to the upper- or lower-level path, the square 7 for passing from the path 3 of smallest perimeter permitting ascent to a central finish square 8, of squares 9 and 10 corresponding to civil-suit 9 or criminal-suit 10 cases, and bearing corresponding judgements, of squares for immediate wins or the possibility of immediate wins 11, of squares for immediate expenditure 12, of squares for random wins with risks 13, of infringement of the law, corresponding to prosecution squares 14, these various squares being distributed uniformly over the paths 1 to 3, of playing cards 15 and 16 confirming or invalidating the judgements borne on the corresponding squares 9 and 10, of a die 17, of pieces 18 and of notes 22.

Description

 The present invention relates to the field of leisure, in particular board games, and relates to a legal board game.

 Currently, known board games are generally in the form of an endless track on which are moved pawns of a number of boxes which is a function of a number played with one or more dice. Pawns are moved between a starting square and an ending square, which can be confused, and the pawn ending first in the finishing square is generally the winner.

 Sometimes these games are sometimes provided with boxes intended to slow down or prevent the progress of the pawns, or even to make them return to the starting square, by simple presence of the pawns on the square or in cooperation with random situation cards drawn upon arrival on such a space. However, these known games quickly lose their interest due to the low diversity of obstacles to the progression of pawns, and the fact that the winning of a game is mainly related to the luck factor.

 The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks.

 Its purpose is, in effect, to play a legal board game, characterized in that it is essentially constituted by concentric tracks corresponding to progressive levels of play from the track of larger perimeter to the track of smaller perimeter, and of which the track with the greatest perimeter is provided with a starting square and at least one crossing square with the upper level track, the other tracks each having at least one crossing square with the upper or lower level track, the passage box for the track with the smallest perimeter allowing access to a central arrival box, by boxes corresponding to civil or criminal trials, and bearing the corresponding judgments, by boxes of gains or possibilities of immediate gains, by boxes of immediate expenses, by boxes of random gains at risk, by violation of the law, corresponding to accusation boxes, these various boxes being evenly distributed on the tracks, pa r game cards confirming or invalidating the judgments made on the corresponding boxes, by a die, by pawns, and by tickets.

 The invention will be better understood thanks to the description below, which relates to a preferred embodiment, given by way of nonlimiting example, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawing, the single figure of which is a view in perspective of a game according to the invention.

 The legal board game, represented in the appended drawing, is essentially constituted by concentric tracks 1 to 3, which correspond to progressive levels of play with an evolution of the increasing difficulties from the track of larger perimeter 1 to the track of smaller perimeter 3. The track with the largest perimeter 1 is provided with a starting square 4 and at least one square 5 for the passage to track 2 of a higher level, and the other tracks 2 and 3 each have at least one square 6, 7 crossing to the upper or lower level track, the passage box 7 of the track of smaller perimeter 3 allowing access to a central box 8 of arrival.

 According to a characteristic of the invention, the starting boxes 4 and crossing 5 of the track 1 of larger perimeter can be merged into a single starting and passing box.

 Tracks 1 to 3 are also provided, in a uniformly distributed manner, with boxes 9 and 10 corresponding to civil or criminal trials, these boxes 9 and 10 bearing the corresponding judgments, with boxes 11 of winnings or of possibility of immediate gains and boxes 12 of immediate expenses, and finally boxes 13 of random gains at risk which correspond to boxes 14 of accusation.

 The game according to the invention is completed by decks of cards 15 and 16 which confirm or invalidate the judgments made on the corresponding boxes 9 and 10, by a die 17, by pawns 18 and by tickets 22.

 Tracks 1 to 3 are advantageously constituted by removable elements linked together and are mounted, by means of arms 19, on a central support post 20 mounted on a foot 21, in a fixed or movable manner in rotation, the central box d arrival 8 being fixed on said post 20 and the tracks 1 to 3 being offset between them in height, the track 1 of the lowest level of play being at the lower level, and that, 3, of the highest level at the upper level , directly below the level of the finish box 8. In the case of mounting each track 1 to 3 with the possibility of rotation around the post 20, it is possible to make a random arrival of the pawn 18, located on a passage 5 to 7, on the upper or lower level track.

 Boxes 9 and 10 of civil or criminal trials directly indicate the penalty or fine imposed on the player whose pawn is on the box, but the player can directly accept the sanction or draw a corresponding card 15 or 16 which will invalidate or confirm the judgment, or even award compensation. Boxes 11 and 12 of immediate winnings or immediate expenses allow players to directly win a precise or random amount of money or oblige them to immediately pay a specified amount. Finally, the boxes 13 of risky random winnings are boxes on which a player can decide to make an indicated gain by running the risk, because he has committed an offense, of being reported by another player, and therefore condemned, when the latter's pawn is on an accusation square 14.

 According to a characteristic of the invention, the boxes 9 to 12 are advantageously pivotally mounted by means of hinges, or the like, not shown, on the removable elements forming the tracks 1 to 3, and the inscriptions concerning the judgments, the winnings and the possible expenses are shown on their underside. Thus, because the characteristics specific to each box are hidden from view in normal position, the appeal of the game is increased by a dimension of suspense.

 It is also possible, according to another characteristic of the invention, to provide each box 9 to 12, on its underside, with a drawer or folder in which is inserted a cardboard carrying the particular characteristics of the boxes. Such a configuration of the boxes also increases the suspense.

 Finally, the mounting, possibly mobile, of tracks 1 to 3 on the central support post 20 also makes it possible to increase the interest of the game by making the arrivals random during the passage of a track from a lower level to a track. of a higher level or vice versa.

 The game according to the invention consists, for each player, in moving his pawn 18, from the starting square 4, with a given starting sum, on the boxes of the different tracks 1 to 3 to access the arrival box 8. The passage from a track of lower level 1 or 2 to the track of higher level 2 or 3 or to the arrival box 8 can only be made on boxes 4 to 7 provided for this effect, and provided that upon arrival on these boxes a minimum amount indicated by these boxes. The players can obtain these sums by moving their pawn on the tracks, according to the numbers played on die 17 and the boxes it is called upon to occupy. In the case where a player placed on the one of tracks 2 or 3 of higher level does not have any more the minimum sum necessary for its accession to the level of gains corresponding to this track, it is obliged to demote to track 1 or 2 of lower level, on its arrival on the space of passage 6 or 7 of track 2 or 3. In addition, in the case where a player placed on track 1 of the lowest level does not have more than a sufficient sum to pay his creditors, he will have to pay what he stay with them and return to square 4, where a starting sum will be allocated to him again, and his debts will be canceled. This process is, however, limited to a limited number of remedies for each player to result in their withdrawal from play after having made use of it within the authorized limit.

 The game according to the invention allows, in particular, an awareness of players to legal procedures while maintaining their interest in the game as it unfolds.

 Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown in the accompanying drawing. Modifications remain possible, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.

- CLAIMS  1. Legal board game characterized in that it essentially consists of concentric tracks (1 to 3) corresponding to progressive levels of play from the track with the largest perimeter (1) to the track with the smallest perimeter (3 ), and of which the track with the greatest perimeter (1) is provided with a starting square (4) and at least one square (5) passing to the upper level track (2), the other tracks ( 2 and 3) each having at least one box (6, 7) for passage to the track of higher or lower level, the box (7) for passage of the track of smaller perimeter (3) allowing access to a box central (8) of arrival, by boxes (9 and 10) corresponding to cases of civil (9) or criminal trials (10), and bearing the corresponding judgments, by boxes of gains or possibility of immediate gains ( 11), by immediate expenditure boxes (12), by risky random gain boxes (13), by violation of the law, corresponding to accusation boxes (14 ), these various boxes being distributed uniformly on the tracks (1 to 3), by playing cards (15 and 16) confirming or invalidating the judgments made on the corresponding boxes (9 and 10), by a die (17), by pawns (18), and by tickets (22).  2. Game according to claim 1, characterized in that the starting (4) and passing (5) spaces of the track (1) of larger perimeter can be combined into a single starting and passing space.  3. Game according to claim 1, characterized in that the tracks (1 to 3) are advantageously constituted by removable elements connected to each other and are mounted, by means of arms (19), on a central support post (20 ) mounted on a foot (21), in a fixed or mobile manner in rotation, the central arrival box (8) being fixed on said post (20) and the tracks (1 to 3) being offset between them in height, the track (1) with the lowest level of play being at the lower level, and the track (3) with the highest level at the upper level, directly below the level of the finish box (8).  4. Game according to any one of claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the boxes (9 to 12) are advantageously pivotally mounted by means of hinges, or the like, on the removable elements forming the tracks (1 to 3 ), and the inscriptions concerning the judgments, the profits and the possible expenses, are carried on their lower face.  5. Game according to any one of claims 1 and 3, characterized in that each box (9 to 12) is provided, on its underside, with a drawer or folder in which is inserted a cardboard carrying the particular characteristics to the boxes.
