Abstract

The invention relates to a safety device which makes it possible, without the risk of injury, to start up a heat engine using an electric drill. It is made up of a holding sleeve 1, one end of which is fixed by a collar 5 and screw 6 onto the body of the drill. The other end includes two anchoring fingers 7 which, at the moment of starting up, are inserted into two holes 8 in the casing 9 of the engine 10 in order to hold the drill and engine together at the moment of starting. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for safety in starting, with an electric drill, heat engines in motorised cultivation, leisure pursuits, and light industry.
