Abstract

Lawn laying machine comprising a self-driven support frame (1) carrying a tool frame (2) comprising means (3) for unrolling a precultivated rolled lawn strip (100), a device for synchronizing the strip unrolling speed with the speed of advance of said machine, means (5) for preparing the ground prior to laying and means (6) for positioning the unrolled strip on said prepared ground. The support frame (1) further includes means (9, 10, 11) for driving said machine, a part of means (7) for loading and maintaining the precultivated lawn strip rolled on said tool frame (2) and means (8) for controlling the machine's functional elements . The positioning means (6) comprise a precise positioning device for translation of the tool frame (2) in the same plane in relation to said support frame (1) in a direction perpendicular to the machine direction of operation.
