Abstract

The pencil case is cylindrical or prismatic in shape and has a slide clasp fastener (5). This is in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the case and is equally distant from the ends (2,3) of the case. The fastener extends nearly all round the case and leaves a supple joint (8) between the two parts of the case. This allows the case to open to form two pots on either side of the fastener. The case has two rigid boxes (9,10), put opposite each other, which are covered with a cover (4), made in relatively supple material. USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides easy accessibility and in open position provides stability allowing it to be used as pencil stand.

Convertible case for pencils, pens and other stationery, of the kind having a generally elongated, cylindrical or prismatic shape, and provided with a zipper (5), characterized in that the zipper (5 ) is contained in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the kit and located equidistant from the two ends (2,3) of the kit, this zipper (5) extending almost over the complete turn of the kit in providing a permanent flexible connection zone (8) between the two parts (6,7) located on either side of said zipper (5), so that in the open position of the kit, its two parts ( 6,7) of equal height (H), located on either side of the zipper (5), can be placed side by side, at the same level, the two ends (2,3) of the kit thus being brought into the same plane and being able to rest on the same flat surface (13), so as to constitute a double pencil holder.
