Abstract

The window comprises a glass screen separating private and public areas. The private area is equipped with an electronic device for handling smart card transactions. This is connected to a keypad in the public area for the entry of confidential code numbers. On the public side there is a tablet (3) mounted at the level of the window proper (2). The tablet contains a keypad (310), a slot (314) for entry of a smart card and a display. The keypad/slot/display unit can be pulled back into the private area using a slide.
