Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un cotyle de prothèse de hanche constitué d'une cupule métallique creuse en forme de sphère dotée de perçages (2) pour le passage de moyens de fixation et d'un noyau (3) en matière synthétique emboîté dans la dite cupule, le dit noyau ayant un creux recevant une sphère fixée en bout d'une tête de tige de hanche. Selon l'invention le pourtour du bord inférieur du cotyle est doté d'une succession de creux (4) et de dents (5) régulièrement espacés pour permettre le blocage en position du noyau (3) doté d'un téton (6) à cet effet sur son pourtour extérieur; les perçages 2 de passage des moyens de fixation sont disposés en partie basse du cotyle par rapport à son sens de pose; la partie haute du cotyle par rapport à son sens de pose est dotée d'une fenêtre oblongue (7) et son centre est doté d'un perçage (8) taraudé de fixation de l'ancillaire de pose.

Description

La présente invention a pour objet un cotyle de prothèse de hanche constitué d'une cupule métallique creuse en portion de sphère et d'un noyau en matière synthétique emboîté dans la dite cupule.
Le noyau est doté d'un creux recevant une sphère fixée en bout d'une tête de tige hanche.
La présente invention vise à réaliser un cotyle dont le positionnement de la cupule et sa fixation à l'os sont facilités et dans lequel la mise en place du noyau et son blocage soient possibles suivant plusieurs positions.
A cet effet le cotyle de prothèse de hanche avec cupule et noyau selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement en ce que - le pourtour du bord inférieur du cotyle est doté d'une succession de creux et de dents régulièrement espacés pour permettre le blocage du noyau à la position choisie par un téton de son pourtour extérieur ; les perçages de passage des moyens de fixation sont disposés en partie basse par rapport à son sens de pose, - la partie haute du cotyle par rapport à son sens de pose est dotée d'une fenêtre oblongue et son centre est doté d'un perçage de fixation de l'ancillaire de pose.
D'autres avantages et caractéristiques de l'invention apparaîtront à la lecture de la description ci-après d'une forme de réalisation de l'invention donnée à titre d'exemple et illustrée par les dessins joints dans lesquels - la figure 1 est une vue de dessus de la cupule - la figure 2 est une vue de dessus du noyau, - la figure 3 est une vue de dessous de la cupule, - la figure 4 est une vue en coupe de la cupule et du noyau.
Tel que représenté aux dessins annexés le cotyle selon l'invention est constitué d'une cupule 1.
La cupule mettalique creuse a la forme d'une portion de sphère.
Elle est dotée d'une pluralité de perçages 2 de passage des moyens de fixation, vis ou clous, à l'os.
Un noyau 3 en portion de sphère creuse est destiné à se loger et à se bloquer dans la cupule.
Le pourtour du bord inférieur du cotyle est doté d'une succession de creux 4 et de dents 5, en créneaux, régulièrement espacés pour permettre le blocage à la position choisie du noyau 3 doté d'un téton 6 (figure 2) à cet effet.
La cupule est dotée d'une fenêtre 7 oblongue.
Cette fenêtre 7 est disposée en position haute par rapport au sens de pose de la cupule c'est à dire au dessus de l'axe médian AA' (figure 1).
Cette fenêtre 7 permet un accès à l'arrière du cotyle ce qui facilite son positionnement et permet de s'assurer de sa bonne fixation.
Il est également possible par cette fenêtre de rajouter des matières osseuses.
Il va de soi que d'autres fenêtres oblongues peuvent être réalisées selon l'invention soit au dessus de l'axe AA' soit au dessous.
Le centre de la cupule 1 est doté d'un perçage 8 taraudé pour la fixation de l'ancillaire de pose.
Les percages 2 de passage des moyens de fixation, qui peuvent être des vis, ou des clous, sont selon l'invention disposés sous l'axe AA' en partie basse de la cupule par rapport à son sens de pose.
Des perçages 2 sont également réalisés en position haute.
Avantageusement les perçages 2 de la partie basse de la cupule sont disposés en quinconce sur deux génératrices parallèles et décalés de l'une à lautre.
Comme représenté en figure 4 du côté interne à la cupule 1 les perçages 2 sont dotés d'un lamage profond 9 de préférence sphérique qui permet de noyer la tête de la vis de fixation correspondante.
Le lamage 9 est de diamètre supérieur à celui de la tête de vis ce qui autorise un débattement de celle-ci latéralement et permet de choisir l'axe suivant lequel elle doit être fixée à l'os.
Le pourtour interne inférieur de la cupule (figure 4) est doté d'une nervure 10 et d'une gorge 11 avec laquelle coopére une languette 12 périphérique du noyau 3.

Claims (4)

REVENDICATIONS
1. Cotyle de prothèse de hanche constitué d'une cupule (1) métallique en portion de sphère creuse dotée de perçages (2) pour le passage de moyens de fixation et d'un noyau (3) en matière synthétique emboîté dans la dite cupule, le dit noyau ayant un creux recevant une sphère fixée en bout d'une tête de tige de hanche caractérisé en ce que - le pourtour du cotyle est doté d'une succession régulièrement espacée de creux (4) et dents (5) pour permettre le blocage à la position choisie du noyau (3) doté d'un téton (6) à cet effet, - que les perçages (2) de passage des moyens de fixation sont diposés en partie basse du cotyle par rapport à son sens de pose, - que la partie haute du cotyle par rapport à son sens de pose est dotée d'une fenêtre (7) oblongue, - que son centre est doté d'un perçage (8) taraudé de fixation de l'ancillaire de pose.
2. Cotyle selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que les perçages (2) sont en partie basse disposés en quinconce.
3. Cotyle selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que deux perçages sont réalisés en partie haute chacun de part et d'autre de la fenêtre.
4. Cotyle selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que chacun des perçages (2) dans la paroi de la cupule (1) est doté du côté interne à la dite cupule d'un lamage (9) qui autorise un déboîtement latéral du moyen de fixation qui peut être une vis ou une pointe.
