Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for wall-mounting or ceiling-mounting on a moulding, which is noteworthy in that a hook secured to a shank is held firmly in a U or G section. This arrangement prevents, on the one hand, quick or unintended dismantling and, on the other hand, prevents the device supporting the picture or any other suspended object from swinging (tipping, tilting).

Description

The present invention relates to a wall or ceiling hanging device on a picture rail, for a picture or any other material.

 The traditional device generally comprises a vertical rectilinear metal rod whose curved hook-shaped upper end is engaged in a U or G profile. Along the generally smooth metal rod or comprising regularly spaced notches, slides a hook which supports the array.

Said hook is prevented from sliding by a pinching or wedging device. These well-known fastening devices have the following drawbacks:
a) the hook surmounting the upper part of the vertical rod punches the er in U or G at its point of ccn tact with the latter and the displacement of the rod becomes less easy.

 - 'the t go is not prevented from swinging which can reduce the fall of the painting.

 c) the hook jamming system along the vertical rod punches the latter and a creep occurs which makes the system defective causing the board to fall.

 d) if the hook is of the @ntivol type, that is to say that it is very difficult to quickly separate the @ableau from its hook, it suffices to remove the rod from the profile to take the table and the rod.

 The present invention 3 generally relates to a fastening device to avoid these drawbacks; more precisely it relates to a part replacing the upper hook, and distributing the load on the bottom of the U or @ profile, which conjugates with another piece bearing on the outside face of the profile prevents on the one hand the rocking of the rod and on the other hand the separation of the hook-carrying rod from the profile table. The invention also relates to a picture hook, adjustable in position along the metal rod and difficult to dismantle.

 The difficult-to-dismantle assembly prohibits rapid removal of the switchboard.

The characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which follows, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings of the tick diagram in which:
Figure 1 shows a picture rail and its hanging system made on a U-shaped profile.

 Figure 2 shows a picture rail and its attachment system made on a G-shaped profile.

 The device according to the invention consists of a U-shaped profile (S) (figurel) on which rests a part (2) comprising 2 bearing parts (a) and (b) and having a staircase section. Parts (a) and (b) distribute the load suspended on the hook (4) on the profile @ é in U and thus avoids the punching of the bottom of the di profile. The upper part of the part (2) passes over the small wing of the U-shaped profile (5) and protrudes from said profile.

In addition, in this protruding part, the part (2) is pierced at (C) to allow a threaded rod (1) to pass. A nut (6) is made integral with the part (2) and the
Lige (1) by any suitable means such as welding.

 In another embodiment, the nut (6) is removed and the part (2) is drilled in (C). During assembly, the rod (1) is engaged in the drilling of the part (2) and is made integral with said part by any suitable means such as welding.

Against the underside of the U-shaped profile is applied a part (3) having the shape of a V with a truncated central angle, this part (3) is pierced to allow the threaded rod (1) to slide freely. The two ends (d1) and (d2) of this part (3) can not be brought in. contact with profile (5) in U. The threaded rod (1) is screwed into the nut (C). locking the nut (7) against the face
Lower part (3) ensured the fixing of the rod (1) on the profile (5). The assembly is on the one hand prevents it from sliding along the profile (5) and on the other hand difficult to dismantle which prevents rapid removal of the system. In addition, the combination of parts (2) and (3) prevents the rocking of the threaded rod (1).

 The hook (4) secured to an acrou is posit @@@@ en height by rotation and is used to support the painting or any other exposed object.

 The U-shaped profile can be replaced by an G-shaped profile (Figure 2) allowing the attachment of the hanging device to the ceiling.

 The hook (4) can be replaced by an anti-theft hook, already known and the attachment device can only be detached from the profile (5) by unscrewing the nut (?) The assembly constitutes an anti-theft device.

 The present invention is moreover not limited to the embodiments described and shown but covers all variant embodiments.

 1) Hanging device characterized in that it consists of a part (2) having a staircase section on which is fixed a nut (C) and which cooperates with a part (3) in the form of a truncated V for secure by means of a nut (?) a threaded rod (1) of a profile (5)  2) Hanging device according to claim 1 characterized in that the upper part of the part (2) passes over the small wing of the profile (5) and protrudes from said profile.  3) Hanging device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a hook secured to a éorou is positionable in height by rotation.
