Description

Process for unconditioning industrial gas cylinders in a pressure-resistant sealed enclosure by destroying the isolation valve allowing their complete emptying, the recovery of the contents, and rehabilitation of the cylinder for reuse, as well as automatic or non-automatic devices for putting implementation of the process
The invention relates to the industrial sector of recovery and recovery of waste, with the primary characteristic of unpacking gas cylinders without destroying the envelope, thus allowing their possible reuse and the repackaging or recycling of hazardous contents or not, without loss, without human intervention and without pollution for man and his environment
As such, it should be recalled, on the one hand, that compressed gas cylinders often have an unidentifiable content because they have been scrapped and stored for a very long time, therefore the holder has forgotten the content, on the other hand the isolation valve can be blocked, thus making it impossible for it to be reused industrially or destroyed
Defective compressed gas cylinders are commonly destroyed in a natural environment by piercing the envelope, various mechanical destructions, or by explosive
These inexpensive methods are dangerous for humans and their environment, since they are carried out without prior analysis by releasing possibly harmful gases into the atmosphere, or which may become so by combustion or degradation.
Other methods have been studied which consist in piercing the envelope of compressed gas cylinders in airtight containers, with a view to subsequent treatment, with the possibility of analysis or not. All these methods destroy the integrity of the bottle. thus rendering unusable apue, treatment
According to another characteristic of the invention, the process makes it possible to return empty bottles which can be repackaged after testing and reintroduced into the distribution circuit.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the emptying process is carried out in a closed, pressure-resistant enclosure, allowing the prior analysis of the contents in liquid or gas phase before transfer for repackaging or possible destruction.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the deconditioning method allows, by means of a hydraulic shear, the complete or partial fracture of the isolation valve, ensuring the emptying of the contents.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the procedure allows the possible separation of the contents, liquid or gaseous, of restoring the various elements while retaining their initial characteristics.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the systems for implementing the method include the means for handling gas cylinders, from the storage area to the deconditioning device, the gas analyzer, the transfer machines. contents, as well as handling devices for cleared bottles
To properly fix the object of the invention without however limiting it to the figures of the drawings or the IVF is a front view illustrating the principle of destruction of the tap by means of a hydraulic shears, authorizing the emptying of the contents in the pressure resistant enclosure
