Abstract

The present addition relates to a novel device for assembling an article of footwear cut in a single piece, according to the invention described in Patent No. 89.16681. The device according to the addition includes, according to a first characteristic, an assembly strip (22) which is inserted in an assembly window (21); an assembly tab (23) cut integrally with one of the half-vamps (2 or 3) serves for wedging the device. The device according to the addition includes, according to a second characteristic, an assembly clip which can reinforce or replace the assembly tab (23). The device according to the addition includes, according to a third characteristic, an assembly strip (22) which is inserted in a window/tab cut out on 3 of its sides only.
