Abstract

Metallic lid comprising a fragmented (divided) peripheral skirt for leaktight crimping. According to the invention, the central part (12) of the lid, which is located below the level of the peripheral skirt in which the crimping tabs (17) are defined, comprises projections (20) oriented substantially towards the middle of the said central part. Preferably, a peripheral groove is also made between the projections and the said skirt.
