Abstract

Device permitting the adjustment of quartz watches by pressure on the glass. The invention relates to the cases of quartz watches provided with a contact adjustment system. The invention permits the adjustment of these watches by pressure at various points of the glass without recourse to pushbuttons outside the case. It is composed of a case 9, of a ring for holding the module 8, of a dial 3 equipped with small spindles 5 which will act as pushbuttons, of a glass 2, of a very flexible joint 6 which holds the dial 3 and the glass 2 inside the ring 14. When pressure is applied on a corner of the glass 2, the flexible joint 6 is crushed and the spindle 5 then establishes the desired contact on the circuit 10. The most advantageous application relates to liquid crystal watches with one to four contacts regardless of the shape of the glass, even if it is necessary to have recourse to simultaneous pressure on two contacts.
