Abstract

The invention relates to a jewel or setting 1 with multiple uses. When the setting 1 is fitted on the upper stud 22 of a ring band 2, the tilting ring 12 locks it thereon by clipping over the pin 7. If the ring 12 is unlocked (arrow 23), it constitutes an element capable of being hung on a chain or on a necklace while the band 2 has been removed.
