Abstract

The two-aperture nozzle allows percutaneous artificial respiration of a patient, combining the two principles of jet-ejector respiration and venturi. The nozzle can comprise a tube 4mm. diameter x 70mm. long, allowing air to penetrate into the trachea, and a tube of 1.6mm. diameter inside one tube, and emerging from it at 40mm. from its end, where it is connected at a supply of high-pressure air. The end of the nozzle can be cut at 45 degrees, so that the two tubes can be welded at the same end.

Description

DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The cannula allows to ventilate-r artificially with oxygen (hyperbaric and atmospheric pressure) or compressed air anyone with insufficiency or
respiratory arrest.

In the case of insufficiency or respiratory arrest, the usual techniques are:
. tracheal intubation
. tracheostomy
. the "jet-ventilation
The new system proposed allows the subject to be broken down by
the per-cutaneous way. It does not require the intervention of a per
sounds specialized.

il réuni t les deux principes:
. la "jet-ventilation't
. le principe Venturi
et agit selon le "va-et-vient".
it combines the two principles:
. the "jet-ventilation't
. the Venturi principle
and acts according to the "back and forth".

It is a two-lumen stainless steel cannula, consisting of
set of:
. a tube A diameter 4mm, length 70mm, bends to 130
to facilitate the passage of the cannula in the trachea.

. a tube (needle G14) 1.6 mm in diameter. He is so
killed inside tube A and comes out of tube A 40 mm from the entrance. It is connected at C to the "jet-ventilation" system.

In each tube is a mandrel to preserve each
that light from the cannula when entering it into the
trachea.

The cannula is cut at its end D at an angle of 450 so that the two tubes are welded at the same end point. vs
The system works on the back-and-forth principle:
. oxygen gas or compressed air) intermittently
tent by tube B with a pressure of 3-32 bars, in
the trachea (principle of 'fjet-vent-ilation ")
. in the same te p5, tube A sends atmospheric air
intermittently in the trachea (Ventur principle
This is the aspiration phase. When this one is finished starts
this the cycle of passive exhalation through tube A.

The two tubes can be connected to any sys
suction or expiration tem.

Avantages
Benefits
This system does not require a heavy infrastructure because
it can be connected to a light, portable system.

Sa manipulation est facile à acquérir.  Its handling is easy to acquire.

That is why; it can be used in all situations requiring urgent intervention: road accidents,
of work, earthquakes, war ...... etc, but
also in the hospital, especially in the otolaryngology department.
