Abstract

The humidifier fits on top of an electric convector heater (1) and comprises two water tanks (2) connected by a group of tubes, filled with a heat conducting material. The tube nest is fitted with a cover which has a louvred or slotted front and top (3). The upward current of warm air from the convector heats the tubes of the humidifier which in turn evaporate the water from the two side tanks.
