Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to all devices of the "Saturator" type, adaptable to an electric convector or radiator, allowing, by an indirect heat transmission circuit, the release of wet vapors in a room whose air contains an insufficiency of humidity therefore an excess of static electricity.
In the devices known to date, there is the small simple tank which hooks against the cast iron radiator and which is heated by simple contact with the latter, this process applicable for all kinds of radiators containing a liquid can not be utility for an electric heater.
The saturator according to the invention allows, with regard to convectors or elictric radiators to overcome this drawback. It is in fact associated with a system of tubes, in the case of the drawing, which are placed directly above the radiator and which collect part of the heat released by the latter thus allowing, via the contents of the tubes, to transmit heat to it so that it can exercise its role in the room where it is installed.
A saturator, according to the present invention, can have any desired shape and dimensions, appropriate to the shape of the convector or of the electric radiator supplying it with heat, its part comprised between the tanks can be made of any solid material, liquid or gas that conducts heat and remains within the expansion or shrinkage tolerances.
In the case of the appended figures, the tubes receiving the heat from the convector or from the electric radiator can be filled with any material or liquid which conducts heat.
The fairing enveloping the saturator and its equipment must, when it is installed on the radiator, be separated by an insulating non-conductive electrical seal.
- Figure 1 is a top view of the saturator showing the two tanks (2) located at the two ends, the fairing (3) and (6) which in its two seen faces is perforated (3).
- Figure 2 is a front view of the saturator, we can clearly see the assembly with the electric radiator (1) as well as the location of the two tanks (2) and the perforated part of the fairing (3).
- Figure 3 is a vertical section of the saturator to see the hot air circuit released by the electric heater (1), the system of tubes (4) recovering the heat and transmitting it to the two tanks (2), the openwork fairing on the two seen faces (3) and solid on the face applied against the wall, the fixings (S) and the insulating joint (7).
- Figure 4 is a longitudinal section of the saturator showing the tubes (4) connecting to the tanks (2). as well as the fixings (5).
The air which is heated by the convector or the electric radiator escapes through the upper part of it, passes through the middle of the tubes (4) by heating them and arrives in the room via the perforated zones of the saturator . The tubes (4) recover heat, transmit it to the tanks (2) containing liquid which evaporates in the room by increasing temperature.
The saturator, object of the present invention, can be used in all cases where the air in the room in question is charged with static electricity, it can therefore be adapted to all kinds of electric radiators or convectors placed in individuals or in 1e8 local
Administrative, industrial and sports.
