Abstract

The invention relates to a product making it possible to provide comfort and hygiene for pets and for their owners. The invention is presented in the form of a small cylindrical granule which is easy for the animal to move, and it is composed of three raw materials, individually or as a mixture, namely maize-cob flour, cereal by-products (sharps, middlings), and maize by-products (sharps, middlings), which have themselves been recovered, sorted, ground and then recompacted. The product according to its invention is intended particularly for absorbing urine and excrement from pets.
