Abstract

The invention relates to a clutch device, of conical internal shape, whose wall is covered with a high strength substance of the rubber type, consisting of an engine flywheel 1 of conical shape, with a rubber-type wall 2, of a solid cone 3 part which drives the shaft of the wheels, covered with an inflatable assembly 4. At its centre 5 is placed the hydraulic feed circuit 6, assisted 7 and actuated 8 by the clutch pedal. An offset may be carried out with respect to the axis 5 of the inflatable clutch engagement assembly 4, so as to drive by gearing 9 and to transmit the drive to the wheels. The advantage of this device is to soften the clutch action and to permit greater durability, with respect to conventional clutch disks. It may also be envisaged to obtain speed ratios (gears) by separating the inflatable part 4 into three parts (having three different diameters) and by coupling one or more appended circuits: one being a clutch engagement/release circuit, and the other supplying the three inflatable parts, for a change in ratio (gear).
