Abstract

A launcher and a multi-format slide. It comprises a multi-format slide 15, the said multi-format slide 15 is formed by at least two shoulders 14 of different sizes. It is formed from a ramp whose profile comprises at least two shoulders 14 of different sizes adapted to the size of the targets and to the various combinations of targets with each other. Launcher, particularly for clay pigeons.

Description

 The subject of the invention is a launcher and a multi-format launch pad for launching targets of different sizes.

 Currently, for target shooting or clay pigeons, it is common to launch two or more targets at the same time. These targets are placed on the launch pad. The targets come against a strip which acts as a launching pad, which guides and rolls the target at the start. The target is therefore wedged between the launching platform and the strip and its tread, a shoulder of which partially covers part of said target.

 The strip can be secured to the launching platform; in this case, the whole arm is propellant. In other cases, the launching plate is fixed, it is the strip which is propulsive.

The shoulder of the strip corresponds exactly to the characteristics of the target, in particular to its diameter, to its thickness, to its general shape. It is therefore possible to launch a double by having, one after the other, two targets of identical characteristics, adapting to the dimension of the shoulder. It can be interesting to launch targets of different sizes. Currently, there are two possible solutions
- either the smallest target is placed in the largest (for example: a "mini" with a diameter of 90 mm is covered by a classic 110 mm pigeon or a "mini" 100 mm pigeon); targets separate and fly differently soon after launch
- either the launcher has several launching trays, each launching tray having its own strip or launching strip. If the shoulders of the rods have different heights, it is then possible to launch, at the same time, targets of different sizes.

 Depending on the size of the targets, their diameter, their shape, it is not always possible to nest them one inside the other.

 As for the other solution, the multiplication of launching trays with their strip and their tread, it only increases the launching arm. This increase in the weight of the launch arm causes power to be lost for launching the targets.

 The invention tends to solve all these problems.

 The launching platform has only one strip, which is either integrated into the launching platform, if the assembly is propulsive, or independent of the fixed launching platform, if it is propulsive, said strip forms, at its ramp , a profile which comprises, at least two shoulders of different sizes.

 The launch pad can thus receive two or more targets of different sizes. The strip can be in one piece, the cutout of which forms, at the level of the ramp, at least two shoulders.

The widest, deepest shoulder allows the placement of the largest target, the narrower, shallower upper shoulder, can guide and roll a smaller target.

 Instead of being formed in one piece, the strip can be formed by plates or slides which overlap and whose spacing between them and the maintenance are ensured by spacers.

 The attached drawings given by way of indicative and non-limiting examples will allow the invention to be easily understood. They represent a preferred embodiment according to the invention.

 Figure 1 is a perspective view of a target launcher for fixed position.

 Figure 3 is a sectional view along the axis AA shown in Figure 1, where the launch pad is cocked for a single target.

 Figure 4 is a sectional view along the axis AA shown in Figure 1, where the launch pad is armed for a double layered identical targets.

 Figure 5 is a sectional view along the axis AA shown in Figure 1, where the launch pad is armed for a double layered two targets of different sizes.

 Figure 6 is a sectional view along the axis AA shown in Figure 1, where the launch pad is armed for a double of two identical targets for beaten.

 Figure 7 is a sectional view along the axis AA shown in Figure 1, where the launch pad is armed for a double of two targets of different sizes for rolling targets called "rabbit".

 The target launcher 1 shown is a stationary launcher.

It consists of a mounting base 2, which receives the foot 3 of the launcher.

This foot 3 is mounted articulated on an axis 4. An orientation finger 5 and a cam 6 make it possible to orient the launcher 1 and to block it. The launching arm 6 is composed of a launching platform 7 mounted on an axis 8, and a handle 10 and a handle 9. The arming spring 12 is fixed to a linkage 11 under the handle 10 On the launching platform 7, a target 13 is placed which is housed, by its rim 16, in the shoulder 14 of the strip 15. Another target 17 is shown in dotted lines, it thus makes it possible to launch a double . This second target 17 can, for example, be a so-called "mini" target having a diameter of 90 mm, while the target 13 has a diameter of 110 mm. The rim 18 of this second target 17 (see FIG. 5) comes against an upper shoulder 19. An intermediate shoulder 20 allows the housing of an upper cutout 21 of the target 13.

 Each shoulder 14, 19 makes it possible to provide a tread 22.

 This tread 22 can be a rubber band, or other similar material or the body of the strip 15, which is striated to drive the target (s) in rolling.

 In Figure 4, the two targets are identical in size; they come to fit one over the other.

 FIG. 5 represents a doublet already described above and in which the two targets are of different sizes.

 FIG. 6 represents a double in which the targets are very flat targets, called battering targets. One on the other, these two battue targets 23, 24 occupy the entire height and depth of the first shoulder.

 FIG. 7 represents a double consisting of two targets 25, 26 of different sizes which have a large rim and are rolling targets called "rabbit".

 As can be seen in the figures, the strip according to the invention with its two shoulders 14, 19 makes it possible to set up several combinations of targets which will form doublings or triplets (a mini target can be housed inside of a big target).

The launch arm and its launch pad are not weighed down and thus retain all their power to launch the targets. The strip is therefore multiformat.

 Of course, the dimensions of the shoulders, height, depth, etc., are calculated as a function of the different sizes of the targets currently known and of the combinations of these targets with one another.

 According to another embodiment not shown in the figures, the strip may include a removable profile which, by fixing means, is fixed on the ramp of the strip. This profile can be specific to certain combinations of targets. As desired, the user can change the profile according to the type of target he wants to launch and the combination of targets between them.

 According to another embodiment shown in Figure 8, the strip or launching ramp 27 is independent of the launching pad 28, in this case it is the strip 15 which is propellant.

 1. Launcher for targets characterized in that it comprises a multiformat strip (15), said multiformat strip (15) is formed by at least two shoulders (14, 19) of different sizes.  2. Strip for launching platform for guiding and rolling targets characterized by the fact that it is composed of an independent launching ramp, or not of the launching platform (7) whose profile has at least two shoulders (14 , 19) of different sizes, adapted to the size of the targets and to the different combinations of the targets.  3. strip for launching platform for guiding and rolling targets according to claim 2 characterized in that the launching ramp comprises a removable profile, said profile has at least two shoulders (14, 19) of different sizes, means fasteners allow you to quickly attach and detach the profile from the ramp.  4. Launcher for targets according to claim 1 characterized in that the multiformat strip (15) and the launching plate (7) are independent, said plate (7) is fixed and the multiformat strip (15) is propellant.  9. target launcher according to claim 1 characterized in that the multiformat strip (15) and the launching plate (7) are integral; in this case it is the whole arm which is propulsive.
