Description
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de récupération des métaux contenus dans les effluents des cabinets dentaires. The present invention relates to a device for recovering metals contained in dental office effluents.
Lors de la mise en place de l'amalgame dentaire dans la bouche du patient, une partie-de l'amalgame est rejetée dans les effluents par l'intermédiaire du crachoir ou de l'aspiration chirurgicale. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet la récupération des métaux constituant l'amalgame dentaire et contenus dans les eaux de rejet. Des dispositifs de récupération de ces métaux existent; ils utilisent traditionnellement des procédés de décantation, de filtration, ou de centrifugation. Le dispositif selon l'invention utilise l'enchainement des deux procédés suivants: décantation et électrolyse. Un fourreau diélectrique entoure l'électrode (9). Ce fourreau (11) est constitué par un élément filtrant, permettant ainsi au liauide d'être en contact avec l'électrode (9).Un courant électrique continu alimente le dispositf selon l'invention; le p81e négatif de ce courant est relié à la borne électrioue (13), le p8le positif est relié à la borne électrique (10). Par électrolyse du liquide, les particules métalliaues en suspension et les sels métallîcues dissous ou en suspension, se fixent sur la grenaille (6).
