Durant ce mouvement de sortie chaque motte 2 est maintenue fermement sur la face frontale sur rieure 5a du poussoir associé 5, grâce à la prévision de la broche 8 qui se trouve être enfoncée axialement à l'int- rieur de la motte comme on peut le voir sur la figure 3. En fin de cycle de montée des poussoirs 5, les plants 1 se trouvent être totalement dégagés des alvéoles 3 du plateau support 4, au-dessus de celui-ci, et ils sont maintenus, par les broches 8, dans des positions bien déterminées.Ceci permet de saisir chacun des plants 1, par exemple au moyen d'une pince 9 dont les deux mâchoires opposées viennent serrer entre elles la motte de terre 2. Une fois les mottes 2 des plants 1 saisies par les pinces 9, l'ensemble des poussoirs 5 est amené à redescendre, gracie à l'alîmentaiton du vérin 6 par le nez. De ce fait les poussoirs 5 s'écartent des mottes 2 et les broches 8 se dégagent progressivement de l'intérieur de ces mottes. Ces mottes demeurent alors saisies entre les mâchoires des diverses pinces 9 et eles peuvent être transférées alors vers la zone d'utilisation.
