Abstract

A plastic bag according to the invention is characterised in that it comprises, fixed in the vicinity of its opening 41, a closing cord 42 made of plastically deformable material which is adapted to be twisted and then folded back in order to ensure the closing of the bag 39. 5. Bag according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure cord (42) comprises a metal core and a plastic coating.

6. Bag according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure cord is fixed to the bag by gluing or heat-bonding depending on the nature of the bag.

7. Bag according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the length of the closure cord section (42) is provided so as to allow, after pleating and twisting, an area of the bag close to the opening to fold over an end portion of said cord (42) adjacent to the opening.
