La présente invention a pour objet une machine à calibrer les fruits de forme à peu près sphérique et de nature particulièrement délicate, comme par exemple les pommes. Cette machine peut être utilisée individuellement ou etre installée dans une ligne de conditionnement; suivant les versions, elle peut être équipée d'un ou de plusieurs cylindres de calibrage, ce qui permet d'obtenir un produit tout à fait homogène et d'éliminer tous les fruits n'atteignant pas la grosseur prévue. Dans cette machine, les fruits des différents calibres sont transportés au moyen d'une circulation d'eau. C'est que, dans une telle machine, les produits doivent être triés de manière très précise, à l'aide d'un crible, sans causer le moindre dommage aux fruits.
