Abstract
Method of coating metal pieces in a coating appts. esp. an electroplating bath, is described in which at least part of one external surface of each of the pieces to be coated has a curvature which can be used to promote rolling movements comprises effecting a rolling motion of the parts which roll. This is effected by immersing a support for these pieces into the bath and making the curved portions roll on the support. Used esp. for plating articles which have a length:dia. ratio >4. All parts of the pieces to be coated are coated properly since no part is in permanent contact with the support and none are liable to become lodged in drum perforations, etc. as in prior. art.
