Abstract

The disposable bib or apron, such as those used in surgical operations, is easily put on and removed and is cheap to produce. The apron is made of a preferably non-woven piece of material, with long, flexible reinforcements in and along one edge, for fixing round the part of the body. The reinforcement may be made of soft metal wire or strip, or wire coated with plastics. Sections of reduced strength in the material enable the reinforced edge to be removed.
