Abstract

Tallow is widely used for greasing on railways, ships and is also used for treating leather articles. Aerosol enables easier application avoiding use of rags coated with tallow which is messy. Propellent is pref either N2, N2O or CO2 gas; or liquified gas which serves as solvent for the tallow, esp a Treon (RTM) particularly a mixt of equal parts. of Treon 11 and Treon12, or gas hydrocarbon such as propane or butane opt mixed with >=1 Freon.
