Abstract

The display or reference device suitable for maps, notices, etc., has a vertical column (1). From this extends radially a number of plates or boards (2) which can swing about the vertical axis of the column. Thus, both sides of any board can be read by swinging it away from the others. Each board consists of a surface which fits inside a square or rectangular frame. Attached to one side of the frame are two rings (3) which slide over the column, to act as hinges. The boards are then supported by spacers, above, below and between the hinges, also fitting over the column. A flange (4, 5) is fitted top and bottom for e.g. floor and ceiling connection. The outer frame member is removable to remove the panel inside.
