Abstract

The gas-heated cooking point has a burner (9, 10) and a cooker recess (6) which is formed at the end of the cooking point facing the burner (9, 10) as a support for a reflector (5). In addition, the cooker recess (6) lies with this end on an insulation plate (7). The reflector (5) is supported on the support forming a seal. The cooker recess (6), the reflector (5) and the insulation plate (7) can thus be held together without additional connection means when the burners are open and also when they are covered. The individual parts are centred at the same time as being held. In addition, as a result of this design, a support for the cover plate (11) of the cooking point is provided which is stable, load-resistant and yet cheap to manufacture and which ensures a reliable support for even heavy pans on the cover plate (11).
