Abstract

Procédé de préparation de poly(alkylène imidotrimellitate) ou PATI, par polycondensation à l'état fondu d'un N-hydroxyalkylimide de trimellitique. Selon ce procédé, on incorpore au système réactionnel lors de la polycondensation un composé contenant au moins un groupe hydroxy alcoolique en quantité ne dépassant pas 10 moles %. Ce procédé permet de réduire le nombre de groupes carboxy terminaux dans le PATI et d'empêcher la diminution du poids moléculaire du PATL
