Abstract

The mattress for a waterbed has three sections that are joined together. Each section is rectangular and measures 75 x 66 cm. and each has a valve for filling or emptying. The modules are joined together by strips of hooked-pile fastening fabric which are pressed together. The lateral flanges of the mattress have eyelet so it can be fixed to the bed-frame. The modules may be compartmented by lines of welding running in a longitudinal direction.
