Abstract

The automatic bale wagon comprising a load bed and a platform movable over the load bed. The movable platform has a length which is substantially smaller than the length of the load bed, the platform being movable in a fore-and-aft direction relative to the load bed. The movable platform pref. has a length equal to seven times the width of an average bale, the load bed equal to sixteen times the width of an average bale. The movable platform is mounted on rollers rotatable about shafts extending transversely of the wagon. The movable platform is movable over the load bed between the front and rear edges.
