Abstract

Procédé pour former des particules sphériques fines de polymères à répartition de dimensions uniformes contenant un pigment minéral ou un colorant noir par polymérisation en suspension d'une combinaison de monomères polymérisables et d'un dispersant minéral, contenant le pigment minéral ou le colorant noir. Les monomères polymérisables, dans l'eau, présentent une charge cationique résultant de l'introduction d'un monomère polymérisable cationique ou d'une amine peu soluble, ou bien présentent une charge anionique résultant de l'introduction d'un monomère polymérisable anionique, et le dispersant minéral, dans l'eau, une charge électrique opposée à celle des monomères polymérisables, la polymérisation en suspension étant effectuée dans des conditions telles que le stabilisant minéral est fixé par des liaisons ioniques à la surface des particules de monomères polymérisables qu'il recouvre uniformément. Les particules à répartition de dimension uniforme préparées conformément à l'invention peuvent servir par exemple à l'application sur des papiers à copier.
