Abstract

The pedal cycle has a frame of dimensions varying dependent on the build of the rider, shortening the rear part and lengthening the front and thus altering the height of the pedals. The rear part can be shortened in the direction of the pedal, to allow increased power to be exerted and improve stability, while the lengthening of the front part gives sufficient ground clearance for the pedal cranks, which can be longer than those of a standard machine.
