Abstract

The article to be folded is placed on a conveyor which moves forward allowing the article to pass under a folding ridge. The front end of the object is picked up by a vacuum into a hod and folder backwards over itself when the vacuum is released and the folding ridge is moved away. The folding ridge has a spring (7) which presses on the cross bar (11). The folding head (9) slides across the frame at the moment of folding.
