Abstract

The agricultural material spreader has a distribution roller working with a member so as to form a threat between them into which the material is delivered. The roller is driven so as to pass material through the threat. The distribution roller (100) has sealing protrusions (170) evenly spaced right round the periphery, and retainers (174) for the material fit over them, so as to confine the material to part only of the roller length. These retainers are removable, to allow material distribution over a greater part of the roller.
